We the people elected Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States of America. In so doing, we continued in our historical tradition of making USA a more perfect union - where all men and women are created equal. A country where the dreams of our leaders are realized - that we judge men on the content of their character, not on the color of their skin - America's first African-American Commander in Chief.

Pittsburgh Proud voted in record numbers to help elect Barack Obama. You chose a man that'll: fix our economy; repair our standing in the world community; provide top quality education; restructure the health care system; and bring peace and security to Iraq and other forward areas.

Barack Obama Pittsburgh Group of Hope is proud of it support for Barack Obama thru the primaries and the general election. Some of us register voters, others lead teams of volunteers, but all of us held out hope that he would win and bring change to Washington. We are proud of our efforts and are dedicated to the continued support of Pres. Barack Obama and assist in his effort to continue in our historical tradition of making the USA more perfect union.
