The Campaign for Change Meetup

Hi Everybody,

The Meetup website automatically generated a meetup for April. Three folks volunteered for the April meeting, and I apologize to them for the confusion.

Several new additions have also joined our group over the past couple of weeks. Welcome!

In addition to managing the Meetup group, I am volunteering with various groups from the Obama website, and I am the Central Indiana Coordinator for voter registration activities. Our deadline to register voters for the Primaries is April 7th, and the Obama campaign staff in Indiana have indicated that this is currently the highest priority.

Please join me in gathering voter registration forms at Conseco fieldhouse during the IHSAA Boys State Basketball Finals. We can register high school seniors and their parents. The event runs from 10am to 8pm, and I will ask volunteers to join in 2hr shifts: 10am-12pm, 12pm-2pm, 2pm-4pm, 4pm to 6pm, and 6pm to 8pm. When you RSVP for the event, please indicate which shift or shifts that you would be willing to work.

Thanks for your help. We will also be scheduling more informal get togethers later in the near future, but volunteer activity a very high priority for the next couple of months leading up to the primary.
