(If you can't make the protest, come to happy hour anyway :) The photo is of the event last month. See description below: "Near HQ for Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Health Net and others. This will be a positive and fun demonstration not an angry one. No LAPD permit needed because we will not march (we checked with them.) No Parks and Recreation permit needed since we will not use a megaphone. We will have a soapbox though for anyone who wants to speak. I am game to still meet for dinner and talk about health care and politics in general if you wish. We have 7 folks signed up to meet at 5 PM at Hamburger Hamlet on Van Nuys Blvd. for dinner, but since we are not going to go to the State Bldg. to hear Dean, let's meet at 6 PM and linger over our food and conversation.
