Organizers are a couple of people I know. The protest will last from 5-7pm, after which the group will go to the nearby TGIF's for appetizers. (If you can't make the protest, come to happy hour anyway :) The photo is of the event last month. See description below:
"Near HQ for Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Health Net and others. This will be a positive and fun demonstration not an angry one. No LAPD permit needed because we will not march (we checked with them.) No Parks and Recreation permit needed since we will not use a megaphone. We will have a soapbox though for anyone who wants to speak. We plan on holding the Single Payer Happy Hour on the last Friday of every month."
