  • “ I suppose the intent of the meeting by the organizers was met. However, somehow it needs to be made clear that YOU are in charge and that we are there to support you. I didn't get the feeling that independent thought was valued except at the "executive" level. No information on how to start up local groups. I had problems with understanding how you/we fit in with the national Obama campaign except when they are coming to the city. I left somewhat less enthusiastic than when I arrived. I wanted to go out and spread the word about Obama in activities and in support. I left feeling marginalized. Oh well..... ”
